If you can find a Blains farm and fleet, I recommend you buy it from there it is priced at 0. That is the cheapest I've seen for this model so I bought it there. Leave no doubt that this a value safe, this is not fire rated or burglar rated. With that being said, I purchased it to deter a common criminal from stealing my guns. And I think it is great safe for the money. You should put this in a corner of a room/closet if possible. Bolt it down to the floor or anchor in concrete, there is no point in having a safe if someone can just take it and force their way in on their own terms. If you don't mind voiding the warranty I would find the studs in your wall and measure and drill some holes to further attach this to the studs, this will also help deter theft. It advertises 10 guns (long guns) but that is wishful thinking if you have a lot of scopes or oddly shaped guns. I would say it more to the order of 6-8 guns. There are some scope standoff pieces that you can attach so your scoped guns are not leaning on the sides with their scopes on the wall. If you have a wood stock, store your guns muzzle down, this will prevent oil from running down the barrel, leaking out and ruining your stock. I suggest getting some velcro holsters to put on the carpeted door it's very handy if you have 4 or more pistols you want to keep in there. Some shorter carbines may not be long enough to reach the mount, an easily solution for that is to take the carpet it out the bottom and put something an inch or two thick (I used styrofoam) in half the bottom or the whole bottom so your carbine will reach. Before you buy, even if you buy online, find one at a local retailer so you can check out the interior, combination lock, storage space, and the thickness of the steel before you commit a couple hundred bucks. All and all I'm pretty happy with this safe. Hope this review helps.
