I bought this for my fiance for his birthday along with the upper add on security cabinet. My item arrived in about 3 days which is incredible considering the size and the free shipping I received from Amazon's Prime membership. Though others have had trouble with getting it and having it be a bit beat up etc. mine arrived in pristine shape. The box was banged up, which is understandable but the product itself had no dents dings etc. It IS NOT A SAFE and I was fully aware of this. Its made more like a locker from high school only a little thicker steel and more locking points. I think that for the amount of space and the amount of money that we have to spend on something like this its a good product and really, its better than nothing. We secured it in a closet that I measured before hand and it fits very snugly inside the little closet making it harder to pry into (not impossible, just harder) I am fully aware that if someone wanted to get in it really badly they most definitely could, but hopefully they dont come prepared with a blowtorch or crowbar. The upper cabinet is deep (I think 11" like the 8 gun cabinet itself) an I was really surprised by the huge amount of space that it also provides . The upper add on and the 8gun cabinet are about 7- 7.5 feet tall together when stacked and fixed to one another so it holds a good bit of whatever you want to put in it. Its best to consider this a deterrent and also a safety precaution for when kids, or our stupid immature friends come over. I would recommend this to anyone who asked and was working with this price range its a very nice looking and pretty sturdy product.
